The Permanent Travellers, Part 2

13-year-old Miro Siegel is truly a global citizen. He and his mother, Lainie of blog Raising Miro, have been traveling for over 3 years and don’t plan to stop any time soon. His checklist includes Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and Colombia. Miro doesn’t attend formal school but participates in “unschooling” and is even helping produce a learning retreat in Peru. The Permanent Travellers, Part I

Lainie Liberti of Raising Miro is a single mum who wanted her son, Miro, to learn about the world. So in 2008 she sold her Californian business and took the then 9-year-old on the road. They have been travelling ever since and covered 12 countries in South and Central America including Belize, Chile and Panama.
